With the start of Autumn comes the seasonal mosaic contest from Rachel over at Stitched in Color. This season’s theme is Washed Earth.
For me Autumn is a season of magnificence. Of golds and reds, yellows and oranges of every hue. Of harvests and leaf fall, rich and bountiful.
But then there are the rainy days, the days of greys and muted shades when the colours become dull and their glorious hues are obscured. This is my interpretation of those days. This is how I see Washed Earth:
